Thinking of becoming a member?

Congregation Shir Hadash is a place where Jews of all backgrounds can find a satisfying spiritual home. We maintain an environment that is at once stimulating, accessible, egalitarian, informal, diverse, warm, creative, and progressive.

Get to know us by exploring our website further. You will find information about our leadership, Shabbat and holiday observances, and opportunities for learning and social action. The FAQs explore questions about our Jewish values, our dues structure, what to bring for a pot luck, etc.

Attend a service or event. Guests are always welcome. Experience Shir Hadash on different occasions and discover if being Jewish here feels right and appeals to you.

Join us for the High Holy Days. Our doors are open to anyone in the Jewish Community that wishes to observe the High Holidays with us. No tickets are required, although we encourage guests to make a donation to the congregation as they are financially able.

Contact our Rabbi, Michal Woll, who welcomes all inquiries and loves to talk about our community and Reconstructionist Judaism. If you wish, she will help you explore your own spiritual journey and whether Shir Hadash might be a good fit for you.
