Babylonian Talmud Shavuot 39a
The Chesed Team is available to coordinate various services during times of hardship, misfortune, or adversity, while assisting our members in fulfilling the mitzvot of bikkur cholim (visiting the sick) and gemilut chasadim (acts of loving kindness).
Some of our activities include:
Transportation assistance for appointments, shopping, or attending CSH events.
Visits at home or care facility
Preparing and/or delivering meals
Support during bereavement
Help with other specific requests
Requests are made through the chesed team or by contacting the Rabbi. All information is confidential until permission is granted to share it with our team members and/or the CSH community.
